On August 1, 37 trainees, dual students and annual interns began their professional careers at the Kesseböhmer locations in Dahlinghausen, Bohmte and Lübeck.
An extensive induction week was organized for the new colleagues in Dahlinghausen and Bohmte. Kesseböhmer was once again supported by axth GmbH from Osnabrück. A two-day training frame at the sprout trainee academy focused on appreciative communication and constructive feedback - centralised building blocks for successful cooperation. The training not only promoted social skills, but also strengthened the team spirit among the trainees. "I particularly liked the fact that we not only gained an initial insight into the company, but were also able to successfully master the first challenges as a team," Nele Morawski, industrial clerk apprentice, describes her impressions.
The induction week was supplemented by training courses and a company rally, during which the trainees explored their new workplace independently. A first aid course rounded off the program: all new trainees were qualified as company first aiders - an important preparation for everyday working life. "The content of the induction week was chosen deliberately: In addition to technical basics, it is important to us that the apprentices can find their way around the company early on and take on responsibility - for example as first aiders," explains Lena Thys, Head of Apprenticeship.
Training also starts at the Lübeck site
The Kesseböhmer Group was also delighted to welcome ten new trainees in five different apprenticeships at its Lübeck site. On the first day, the program included a tour of the company and an opportunity for the future industrial clerks, mechatronics technicians, wood mechanics, machine and plant operators and warehouse logistics specialists to get to know each other.
Two trainee fit days were organized for the trainees to get them started. Kesseböhmer was supported by the Institute for Holistic Health Concepts from Lübeck. This two-day training frame focused on team building, etiquette in the company and time and self-management. The topics of learning and a healthy lifestyle rounded off the program. The training promoted the trainees' team spirit and strengthened their social skills through lots of group work.
