The name Kesseböhmer is synonymous with expertise in metal processing. We’ve been developing products that allow (storage) rooms to be used optimally since 1954 – this includes kitchens and living rooms but also cars and caravans. As an owner-led company, we combine tradition with innovation and take pride in our reputation for exceptional quality. Whether a manufacturing or industrial enterprise, the customers’ wishes always come first. We develop tailored solutions together which integrate perfectly into their processes. As a leading supplier of kitchen interior fittings, today we have approximately 3500 employees, are active in 10 locations and process 60,000 tons of steel yearly.
The driving force for innovations at Kesseböhmer is our customers. To turn their concepts into products and ensure their business is successful, we call on our inventiveness and rely on the most up-to-date processing techniques and materials. From the idea to delivery, all production operations are carried out on our premises – including the development and production of the necessary machines and tools. This is how we come up with innovative solutions that combine design, function and quality.
When Josef and his son Heinrich J. Kesseböhmer took over production from Becker & Co. in Bad Essen in 1954, our product offering consisted of wire baskets and decorative displays for shopfitting and product display business units and product display business units. A lot has changed after 70 years. But even if our portfolio is considerably more diversified and complex now, one thing has remained the same: the values which made the company founders, the Kesseböhmers, successful. We prioritise quality over making quick profit and being in touch with our customers over expansion. And what was and will continue to be centre stage at our still owner-led company is the customer.
Time and again, our product developments have represented milestones in the industry. This is in reference to the superbly simple functions which simplify people’s lives – and that goes double for the quality. To maintain this level of quality, we rely on our highly qualified employees and a quality assurance process that more than satisfies the usual norms and provisions. By the way, the same claims we make about the quality of our products, also apply to environmental protection, work safety and the availability of our supplies.
