Automotive
As a specialist in technical and decorative surface coating for metal finishing, we carefully plan, execute and monitor all steps of the process. We use the latest finishing methods and technology – this starts with laboratory analyses and finishes with highly precise part measurements based on informative control samples. Our reliability as a supplier is valued by the automotive industry with its “just-in-time” logistics as well as the aviation and medical engineering industries. We offer 50 different surface designs, that is, all surface variants used by the market, with the option of automotive-quality versions: Bright and matt chrome; matt, bright and pearlescent nickel (MPS nickel, MR nickel); copper; and matt and bright gold. As an aside, Kesseböhmer’s gold electrolyte is the largest in Germany. It is used to gold-plate, for example, jewellery pieces with large dimensions. In addition, Kesseböhmer’s product offering is being expanded to include the elegant black chrome surface variant, and the new system offers the option of trivalent chrome-plating (chromium III). We also prioritise environmental protection and energy efficiency. In our laboratory, we’re constantly inspecting our wastewater and treating it in accordance with legal provisions.
